Empower Through Chess Education

Chess for Change Academy is an initiative committed to making high-quality chess education accessible to all students, regardless of their background or resources. Established during the COVID-19 pandemic, the academy emerged in response to the growing need for engaging, structured learning opportunities, especially in underserved communities affected by isolation and educational disruption.

Our mission is to use chess as a tool to develop critical thinking, discipline, and confidence in young learners. By offering free instruction, mentorship, and international workshops, we aim to close the opportunity gap in chess education and create pathways for lifelong cognitive and personal growth.

Chess for Change Academy has reached students across borders, with a special focus on supporting impoverished children in India. Through our programs, learners gain more than chess skills. They build resilience, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of community that extends beyond the game.
